How To Allocate Stock Items For A Service Request
When it comes to stock allocation, there can be two activities on service request-
- Stock allocation request
- Stock allocation
It's not necessary that both of them have to be interlinked.
To create a stock allocation request on a service request(ticket)-
- Hover on ‘Services’
- From the drop-down menu, click ‘Service Requests’
- From the list, click any service request(ticket) that you would like to create a parts/stock allocation request for
- Click on ‘Add’ from the top right corner and click ‘Stock Allocation’ from the dropdown list
- Fill in the required details and provide details of all the stock items(parts/products) that you want to be issued. And select the ‘Warehouse’ you would like these stock items to be assigned/released from
- Once filled, click ‘Add’ from the top right corner
This stock/parts allocation activity details will be sent to your reviewer/manager, if any. Once approved, it will be visible to the warehouse/depot supervisor for allocation.
