Generate QR for assets or locations- One at a time
In FieldCircle, whenever you add an asset or location, the system automatically creates it’s QR code. You may then download this QR code and stick it on asset or location so that your team can immediately scan and access information related to that asset or location.
Bulk QR generation for assets or locations
- In order to generate QRs in bulk, import all the assets or locations using spreadsheet. To do that
- Got to Asset or Location panel
- From the top right corner, click ‘Import’ and then click ‘No, I need to download a template to fill in’
- Fill the spreadsheet with all the relevant information
- Once done, click the ‘Import’ button again and now click ‘Yes, I have an Assets spreadsheet ready for import’ and import the sheet
- Match the columns and finish the import
When you import this data, the system auto-generates QR codes for all the imported assets or locations.
This is how you can generate QR codes one at a time or in bulk for assets and locations(sites)
Download QR codes
To download a single QR code of an asset or location-
- Go to the respective asset or location
- In the top right corner, below ‘Add’, you will find the QR code icon
- Click this QR icon, and then from the opened popup bar of QR, click ‘Download Image’ or ‘Download as PDF’ as per your preference
To download bulk QR of assets or locations
Go to the asset or locations list page
Select all the assets or locations you would like to download QR codes of
Now, from the top right corner, click ‘Export’. Followed that,
- For assets, click ‘Asset lookup QR PDF’ if you want to download asset QRs.
- For locations, If you want to download location QR, then on the location page, click ‘Customer Location Lookup QR PDF’.
When clicked, this will open a modal/popup bar where you can select how many QRs you want to print per page. Select the number and click ‘Print’
The soft copy of these QRs in requested numbers per page will be available for download.
