How To Link Warranty To An Asset

  1. From the main menu, hover on ‘Assets’
  2. Now click ‘Assets’ from the dropdown menu
  3. From the available list, click on any asset that you want to assign a warranty 
  4. You will see following type of menu

  5. Click ‘Warranty’ from this menu, followed by click ‘Attach Warranty’ from the new page that opens
  6. When you do that, a new side panel will open. From here, select ‘Warranty Type’. These are warranty types your organization provides and your company administrator has set in the warranty settings module
  7. When you select the applicable warranty, the rest of the details will automatically be filled. Select the ‘Start Date’ which will auto-fill the warranty end date depending on the warranty duration
  8. Once you have filled in these details, click ‘Add’ from the top right corner
