How To Create And Manage Location(Sites) Category/Types Form

These forms are linked to location categories(types). Eg. If you have created a location type named ‘Hospital’, you may setup a form linked to this category so that whenever this category is selected, associated form will open.

In order to setup category 

  1. Click on the ‘Settings’ icon on the right side of your screen, adjacent to your profile picture.
  2. Now, click on ‘Asset and Locations’ from the left menu
  3. Then click on ‘Locations’ from the middle section and click ‘Category Form’ from the left menu
  4. Add the category name in ‘Name’ field and then click on ‘Add’
  5. Now, you will be in form builder. To configure and make changes, drag and drop any relevant field from the right panel, fill in the details in that field, and then click ‘Update
  6. You may also delete existing fields, except the mandatory fields, by clicking on the field and using the delete icon at the top right, and then clicking ‘Update’.
  7. Once you have updated the form, click on ‘Save’ at the top right corner, and it will become active.

 

Import Feature-

You also have an option to import the form. For that-

  1. Click on the ‘Settings’ icon on the right side of your screen, adjacent to your profile picture.
  2. Now, click on ‘Asset and Locations’ from the left menu
  3. Then click on ‘Locations’ from the middle section and click ‘Category Form’ from the left menu
  4. Add the category name in ‘Name’ field and then click on ‘Download Template’
  5. Fill the details in this spreadsheet and once done, upload the sheet in ‘Import form excel sheet’ section
  6. Once done, click on ‘Add’ and after you have mapped the fields, the category form will get created in the system
